3:15 - 4:30 pm Tell Stories with Maps Using a Mobile Device Room 30B Ventura Botanical Gardens and the University of Redlands are developing a smart phone tours app that senses the proximal location of a user to a tour stop and delivers relevant educational content including audio, image slideshow, and video. Using no in-house infrastructure, the app relies on the distributed information architecture of the “cloud” and ArcGIS Online to deliver its trail map, tour stops, and content.
