The Alliance for Public Gardens GIS has been recognized for our work to help the public garden community with the following awards.

Special Achievement in GIS

Esri awarded the UC Davis Arboretum their Special Achievement in GIS award at their International User Conference in San Diego, CA in 2010 for their collective efforts to develop the ArcGIS Public Garden Data Model and launch the Alliance for Public Gardens GIS.

Best Instructional Presentation

Esri awarded Brian Morgan and the UC Davis Arboretum their Best Instructional Presentation award at their International User Conference in San Diego, CA in 2006 for their Designing a New Standard for Plant Collection Mapping poster presentation.
